ELEMENTS OF PHOTOGRAPHIC GENERATION BASED ON FILM HETEROSTRUCTURE MELANIN-SILICON

The development of modern photoelectronics, nanoelectronics, is based on the use of various new high-molecular compounds. New technological applications of molecular compounds of different structures today become the foundation of new directions, both scientific research and practical implementation in the creation of modern special technology. To the new promising organic material, possessing unique properties, now it is necessary to include melanin. Melanin is a natural pigment that plays an important role in the functioning of living organisms. Melanin is known since the 70s of the last century as a substance possessing semiconducting properties.

It was found that melanin exhibits a switching effect in relatively small electric fields. The most important scientific results for the quantum effects of melanin, obtained earlier, are as follows: the isolated water soluble melanin in a separate group is a water-soluble pigment, since all melanins are insoluble in water pigments. Shosuke Ito noted the high chemical resistance of the water-soluble pigment of melanin to chemical reagents. Insoluble in water pigments of melanins are chemically unstable, easily destroyed within a few hours. Water-soluble pigment melanin has unique properties, in contrast to the known synthetic melanin.

Water soluble melanin is molecularly pure, which has no analogues in the spectrum of similar molecular compounds. The water soluble melanin obtained by us at certain concentrations (behaves like a lyotropic liquid crystal).
